We deal effectively with the first two points, by dealing with a small number of well-established carriers, who have tried and tested services in their chosen markets and with whom we have connections at senior level. The third point is assured, firstly by strong negotiation and secondly by our portfolio of support services, such as local hauliers and knowledge of the local infrastructure.
Operationally, we utilise a global network of strategically placed handling depots, into which freight can be delivered or indeed, collected from. Where clients require a door to door service, FAEFA will provide collection and delivery services in the UK. Where the same is required abroad, we have a network of agents and associates who will be able to provide a similar service, including customs entries and associated shipping documents.
Where the overseas collection or delivery point is in a more remote area or is a considerable distance from the main seaport such as in the USA or Far East, cargo is moved through a main hub in that part of the world, such as New York, Charleston or Los Angeles in the USA and Singapore, in the Far East.
